    В книге оригинальный английский текст лучшего, на мой взгляд, сборника рассказов известного британского писателя. В сборнике нет ни детских рассказов, принёсших автору всемирную известность ("Чарли и шоколадная фабрика" и другие), ни "чёрного" юмора для взрослых. Книга автобиографична и повествует о участии автора во Второй мировой войне в качестве лётчика Королевских ВВС. Жаль, что в мягком переплёте, но в остальном - прекрасная книга.
