В настоящей книге рассмотрена структурно-функциональная организация мозга (анатомическое подразделение и номенклатура, связи, распределение медиаторов и нейропептидов) на примерах крысы, кошки и отчасти человека. Приведены данные об эволюции, онтогенезе и роли данных структур мозга в патологии человека. Книгу иллюстрируют уточненные стереотаксические схемы коры, проводящих путей.

Structural-functional organization of the brain (anatomical subdivision and nomenclature, connections, distribution of mediators and neuropeptides) is considered in the monograph in the rat, cat and, to some extent, in the man taken as examples. Certain data on evolution, ontogenesis and on the role of the cerebral structures mentioned are presented in the human pathology. The book is illustrated with verified stereotaxic schemes of the cortex and conductive pathways.
