Aead is a three-level English course for students aged 11-14. Ahead follows the guidelines set by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and includes three Portfolios (one per level) helping the students self-evaluate and record their progress in English. New Step Ahead combines a thorough grammar progression with a student-centred approach based on the principles of the Multiple Intelligences theory. The characters, the stories, and the topics tackled are close to the students' reality and offer an opportunity to develop their curiosity and cultural awareness. The language and vocabulary reflects the use of English around the world and will enable students to make significant progress in their daily use of the language as well as in the preparation of external exams (KET and Trinity). Three CD-ROMs (one per level) provide fun activities, games and video clips to consolidate the language and improve the four skills.
