The textbook is intended for students of III-IV years, studying the discipline "Second Foreign Language" (Chinese). The purpose of this textbook is to help students learn the spoken and written styles of modern Chinese, develop their practical skills necessary for everyday communication, as well as develop the ability to work with specialized texts in Chinese. Studying the materials presented in the textbook and practising them in a variety of systematic exercises contribute to the preparation for the international exams assessing the knowledge of the Chinese language (HSK and TOCFL) in 4 aspects: reading, listening, writing and speaking. The recordings are made by native speakers. This publication can be used by students of all forms of education, as well as for self-study.
